Vice President of Runaway and Homeless Youth Services Julie A. Bock, MSSW, LCSW Julie Bock is the Vice President of Runaway and Homeless Youth Services for Pathfinders. She directly oversees the operation of the programs emergency youth shelter. Her paid and volunteer staff of 45+ ensures that youth in the shelter receive daily individual and group counseling as well as case management, daily living skills, nutritious meals and a safe temporary home. Additionally, she co-directs the Drop-In Center and Q-BLOK programs; in conjunction with Timothy Baack, Executive Vice President at Pathfinders, making certain the young people accessing those programs receive services which provide excellent care, nurturance, skill-building and empowerment. Julie is also an active leader in the community. She has given her time as a member of the Wisconsin HIV Prevention Community Planning Council, the Wisconsin AIDS Fund board, the United Way’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention Oversight Committee, the PrideFest Operations Team, as an Our Whole Lives sexuality education teacher, as co-chair of First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee’s Interweave, as vice-chair of the Milwaukee Commission on Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse, as co-chair of Wisconsin LGBT Youth Health Coalition, and as the Fund Development Chair of the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center board. |
